‘The Lookout Bench’
Linking Tokyo and PDX streets
Initially we hosted their design team in Portland for a week of creative workshopping and inspiration. The result was a bench project that celebrates Portland & Tokyo’s cycle culture. The ‘Look-Out’ bench was installed on the waterfront cycle path in 2019, and can now be found in Wakayama Prefecture in Japan.
